Accommodation here in Knoydart available is flexible to meet your needs and each room can sleep up to 4 in a combination of king sized beds or bunks. All the spacious rooms are tastefully furnished in a modern style but featuring traditional solid wood. You will wake up in the morning to a stunning view over Loch Nevis – and be able to walk to your well-appointed en-suite over a heated floor! Power Showers are standard, pure bliss, after a hard day on the hills. A television is in each room with an extensive video library available. No TV reception though – you're here to get away from the so called “real” world! A quality hairdryer (girls, you will know why this is important local knowledge) is available in each room. Useful for when you're getting ready for a “night on the town” down at The Old Forge Knoydart, where ceilidhs are a spontaneous affair.

Food

My “soon to be famous” breakfasts will be sure to set you up for the day. A full Scottish Breakfast is served at a time to suit you – whether you're set to climb to the top of Ladhar Bheinn, or just intending to head back down to the pub! Vegetarian options (other than just cornflakes or toast!) are available and special diets can be catered for, just let me know in advance please (just remember how far from a supermarket I am!) If you just fancy something lighter a continental-style breakfast is also available. Packed lunches, including hot drinks in a flask, are available by prior arrangement, at a small extra cost. . Evening meals can be taken locally, again just 5 minutes away in The Old Forge or the Pier House Restaurant – or even further afield at Doune Marine for the more adventurous walkers. All three feature local produce and seafood and can be heartily recommended!
