Accommodation here at The Gathering, Knoydart is flexible to meet your needs each room can sleep up to 4 in a combination of king size beds or bunks.  All of the spacious rooms are tastefully furnished in a modern style but featuring traditional solid wood.  You will wake up in the morning to a stunning view over Loch Nevis and be able to walk to your well appointed en-suite over a heated floor!  Power showers are standard, pure bliss after a hard day on the hills. Each room is equipped  with flat screen television (REAL TV CHANNELS , new for 2009 ) , believe it  or not a fairly new thing in  Knoydart, a sound dock for you’re ipod and a professional quality hairdryer, so no need to bring your own ; our ones really are good and a must when you are getting ready for a “night on the town” down at THE OLD FORGE where music and ceilidhs are a spontaneous  affair.  Scottish Fine soaps, shower gels & shampoos are available in each room. All rooms are fully serviced each day with fresh towels provided (OUR ELECTRICITY IN KNOYDART COMES FROM OUR OWN HYDRO SYSTEM WHICH  HAS NO CARBON EMISSIONS! NO NEED TO FEEL GUILTY ABOUT CLEAN TOWELS DAILY OR RUNNING ANY APPLIANCE)

Breakfasts

Here at The Gathering we REALLY do pride ourselves on our breakfasts, using as much locally sourced and organic produce and ingredients as possible.
Taylor make your breakfast from our  full Scottish Breakfast range,  or select the special of the day  which are  truly mouth watering  local seafood  delights, sure to put a spring in your step for the day.(See Specials List). If you are vegetarian you won’t be left out  as our vegetarian breakfasts are something special!

If your feeling fruity then  you can opt for our Healthy Option Fruit Platter breakfast; a large selection of fresh fruit served with organic natural yoghurt, nuts, goji berries and honey, a delicious and refreshing start to the day certain to set you off on the right footing.
All breakfasts are served with tea (earl grey, fruit, herbal & redbush teas also available) or coffee, fruit juice, cereal & toast.

• Fresh Mallaig Kippers Served with a potato & spinach Spanish Style Omelette
• Warm Toasted muffin topped with scrambled egg and hot smoked salmon
• Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict
• Seared Scallops in lemon & black pepper on a bed of shredded spinach served with courgette pancakes
• Home made pancakes served with caramelised bananas, blue berries and maple syrup. (V)
• Warm toasted bagel topped with mixed wild mushrooms (V)
• Vegetarian Haggis served on  bubble & squeak with a warm onion gravy (V)
• Smoked sea food platter (smoked mussels, smoked salmon & home made smoked pate) with warm crusty bread
• Japanese breakfast - grilled organic salmon fillet, pickled ginger, wasabi sauce, seaweed & home made sushi

Breakfast is served in our cosy dinning room with individual tables and wood burning stove.

Packed Lunches

Packed lunches are available on demand and (although I say so myself) they are particularly good.
2 large filled rolls, Organic vegetable crisps, flapjack, chocolate bar, fruit and a bottle of Innocent "This Water"  
Packed lunches are £7.50 and can be ordered in advance or on the day.

Special Occasion wicker picnic hampers with prawns, smoked salmon, pate & bubbly etc  are also available  (and need a few days notice)

Why not enjoy a special lunch on the summit of your last munro  - After all you don’t half deserve it!!
